CORE is a licensed Florida general contractor based in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. While CORE’s construction services range from new residential construction to commercial tenant build-outs, the company earned its first team status by investigating and repairing construction errors in the hurricane prone coastal communities of Northwest Florida.

CORE began over 10 years ago when Matthew Parenzan stepped off the field of Oklahoma University and was drafted by the West Coast commercial construction industry. At the age of 22, Matt became a licensed general contractor coached by Joe Woods. His passion for team play and winning was built on a solid playbook of tradition, fairness, reliability, integrity and a commitment to construction excellence.

In 2002, Matt and his family moved east to Northwest Florida to be closer to family. On the beaches of South Walton, he entered the arena of custom homebuilding with Breaux Construction, the premier custom homebuilder of the 30-A corridor, quickly putting points on the board in the coastal communities of Seaside and WaterColor. In 2007, Matt became a free agent and established COREstruction – a company built on a simple, hands-on approach: value our customer’s needs first and build lasting relationships.

Matt and his wife Misty currently live in the Destin area with their growing family of four. When not on the jobsite, at a band practice or a dance recital, you’ll find Matt on the side of the road changing a tire or loading a truck where his servant’s heart continues to be exhibited through his leadership by example and helping those in need.
