I love nature, came to realize this later in life, lived on a sailboat for many years with my husband and cruised the Western Caribbean. Looking back, I wish then I had a digital camera, not many pictures turned out during that time. Now we are full time RV-ing. We winter on the Texas coast in Port Aransas, Texas. In 2005 I got my first digital camera, didn't think much at the time about photography. I had that camera with me at all time, fishing, walking the beach, etc. My husband, John, was the one who brought to my attention how good some of my photos were. I try to have my camera with me at all times, once missed a great opportunity. While on the ferry crossing over to Port Aransas, the dolphins were tossing something into the air. At closer look they were tossing Red Fish to one another. What great pictures that would have been, no camera that day, bummer. Pictures are wonderful memories.

 

I'm an amateur photographer and still have a lot to learn. Most of my pictures are not planned, just at the right place at the right time.
