I'm an artist, photographer, scuba diver and lover of all things ocean, beach and tropical. I have been taking photos for over 40 years, and underwater photography is my passion. My portfolio here on flickr was originally created as a showcase gallery, but has evolved into more of a citizen science project to identify the many marine species I have photographed over the years.

I have recently joined iNaturalist.org and as I upload photos there and IDs are added and/or corrected, I update the information here. Additionally, there will be reclassifications as new studies are published based on DNA testing. I try to keep my descriptions here as up to date as possible.
