Been around the world twice walked on 6 continents and missed one by 12 hours and 6 hundred miles. Hundreds of countries. LOVED it and took so few pics I am still kicking myself.
Before we start I want to give a vision of myself. The following sentiment is mine and mine alone It goes like this : A moment of time in your life, is a life time of memories for a child . SHARE
University trained in Criminal Justice as well as Social/Psychology. Several degrees in all the above Plus a degree in Earth Sciences (Meteorology). Graduate of Air University ( Alabama )1975 Community College of the Air Force, San Antonio, Texas, University Of Nebraska, Air Force Meteorology School, AFOSI Institute Washington DC,

I am of Native American blood as well as English, Irish and Scottish. While I love to know the lineage I am an American through and through. I have taken an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic. I take that oath to heart and hate it that there are those that criticize us while enjoying the fruits of our labors.

Most of all I am surprised and pleased with the number of wonderful people I have met through this medium. I AM PROUD to call so many people "friend". If you want to know the caliber of these people l just look at a few such as Conner, Ansaletadams, Boots, Buckfever, Mike Taddeo a ras the cop.and Zorin Deneu. Only a few but you will see what I mean.
Active while being Retired. Military background A short stint in the U.S. Marines and a career finish from the US Air Force retiring with just over 22 years of service. Federal Special Agent, Criminal Law Enforcement, Highway Patrol Officer, Deputy Sheriff and US Customs/Immigration Senior Inspector. Love to shoot, reload my own ammo, do leather work, Member of SASS, Golf all summer, bowl all winter, read, some writing, dog walking (I have a golden retriever), Play on 'puter..whew..I'm tired just thinking of it all Oh....and YES.I love good food (I do lots of cooking) For a brief period of stupidity I actually owned several restaurants. One featuring a full menu of Italian cuisine and even a Pizzeria. I like fine wines and enjoy 2 great Rothchild Cigars a day. Oh, just for the record I adore a good single malt scotch and ice. Well, a blend like Chivas Regal isn't all that bad. Oh hell, buy me a shot of Glen Livet and we're square.
I am a hacker at photography. I have neither the time nor talent to pursue "great" pictures. I love to take photos for my personal enjoyment and know even less about presentation or editing. Having said all that I do KNOW good photography and great shots when I see them.
Being a cop and Law enforcement Agent all my life I have had little time to do the things I wished to do, but now I can appreciate all the more things that others do.
To me, a photograph is a record of history, a special moment in time. It serves to remind you of something special. Sharing it is only a small part of it. Take the time to make sure it is what you wish for others to see for it is part of you.
A very special note to those that take the time to research my profile: Some come here just to learn more or pure curiosity but there are some looking for other less productive reasons. For those, let me give you a stern warning: Screw with me on a verbal plain or a physical plain and you bought more than you can handle. I may be old but certainly not harmless To the baker beware, the ingredients are harmless until blended.
Enough. JD the Cop SEMPER FI BROTHERS
