I am a Fire-ground & Spot News photographer located in Niagara, ON, Canada who has been capturing the bravery of our first responders for over 15 years.

I am not officially-affiliated with any fire department or first response agency; I am an accredited freelancer who focuses on the emergency services. All of the images posted here are my own work. Although I am not the official photographer for our local services, I have developed a strong relationship with many of the first responders over the years.

My role as photographer on scene is multifaceted: to document the incident for the local news, to capture the first responders for their personal memories, to document any the natural evolution of an incident/record the scene accurately for investigators, to have evidence for insurance companies (typically for the victim/involved-party), to create a ‘record’ of what happened for documentation purposes; and most importantly: to stay safe & out of the way while on scene performing my job as photographer.

I am also an amateur nature / wildlife photographer attempting to broaden my photography skills.
