I was born and raised in San Francisco, California and grew up there.

I always loved anything to do with crafts and art as long as I can remember. The older I got, I added more creative items in my repoitare.

The first item I discovered I can do was draw, then I learned to paint naturally at age 12. I learned to Crochet and Knit at age 7, but I never learned how to do very many crochet stitches nor read a pattern until after I got into my 30's. A lady at work taught me how to read crochet symbles and I purchased every crochet pattern book I can get my hands on. I had forgotten how to knit, but learned again in my late 30's and also learned to read knitting patterns from a lady in one of the crochet Guilds I belong to. I discovered I can embroider at age 11 and use to go into my Mom's sewing box and use some of her sewing thread. I learned how to do bead weaving on a loom at age 12 from a kit. I also learned other bead work techniques in my 30's like peyote stitch, brick stitch, etc.

I got interested in cross-stitch embroidery just out of high school. I got into needlepoint and quilting at age 20, and doll making in my late 20's. I learned how to make papier mache from books. I did some air brushing in college. I got interested in airbrush at age 18 or 19. I also like to design and paint t-shirts, which is one of my favorite things to wear.

I now reside in Hayward, California.

I've been married for 14 years and love it. No children, though, but we have a pond full of koi and 3 birds. Those are our children. I have nieces and nephews, though.
