When at school used to cycle every evening to Northolt as a spotter. In the early 70's gave up spotting and focused on slide photography (NIKON) and now digital since 2005 (CANON) . A reasonable amount of travel with my job (US,Europe and Middle East)and more recently since retirement to the far east. Both my sons have taken up photography (non aviation) to a good standard and my wife's claim to aviation is that she was once a Flight Stewardess for Iran Air, prior to the revolution.

In the 1980's I became a qualified Pilot.
