When I check out a new production line for the first time, the very first thing I inspect is their conveyor belt systems. I'm not sure why, but I've always been fascinated by them, even before I got into the business. Maybe it was because as a kid I Ioved how you could put something in one place and and watch it travel down the line to another, automatically. Or maybe it was the opening scene in Laverne and Shirley, where they're in the beer bottling plant.
