About the baker, Christina Romano, Although I am not a formally trained chef, I have been cooking and baking ever since I was tall enough to reach my grandmother's stove. Due to my Southern upbringing I've become familiar with indulgent confections made to satisfy any sweet tooth. Also I've had the pleasure of traveling throughout the U.S. , Caribbean, and Mexico and been able to savor many exotic desserts which I've come home and successfully recreated.
I take great pride in my creations- each is such a imaginative way for me to express myself. In addition I have spent a great deal of time researching the science of baking and refining recipes to ensure the very best taste, appearance, and creativity. I believe this combination of quality, knowledge, passion & creativity, and skills set will prove to set my cupcakes apart from the others and even though I am "visually impaired" I keep aiming for my dream to open my own store front one day.
