The Conservation Council is a peak organisation representing almost 40 environmental organisations in the Australian Capital Territory. We are a non-government, non-profit organisation and we aim to engage the community, represent our member groups and ensure protection of the environment.

The Conservation Council ACT Region represent the interests of community conservation organisations in the region as well as the broader environmental interests of all the citizens of the ACT.

 

The Conservation Council is active in a number of campaign areas. Our focus includes biodiversity protection, action on climate change, improved public transport and wise use of water.
