I have lived in Central London for most of my life. Having quit my career as a Science and Chemistry A-level teacher after 18 years in July 2008, I've been using my extra free time doing a variety of different arts related courses at Adult College including singing, stone carving, pottery, self-portrait techniques and of course photography.

My interest in taking up photography as a hobby started in Nov 2006 when I purchased my first digital camera (Panasonic Lumix). and then my first DSLR camera in January 2009. I routinely use Photoshop and Photomatix Pro in processing my images.

My camera equipment:

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01

Mini Gorillapod

Canon EOS 7D DSLR

Canon EOS 40D DSLR

Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4.0-5.6 IS USM lens (reliable - all-rounder but does vignette)

Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 mark II lens (good value - mainly portraits)

Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0L USM lens (equal fave - mainly wildlife, sport, portraits)

Sigma 10-20mm f/4.0-5.6 EX DC HSM lens (equal fave - mainly architecture, tight angles)

Cokin ND2, ND4 and ND8 filters

Hoya Pro Digital UV filters

Hoya Pro Digital Polarizing filters

B+W ND110 (1000X) filter

Hahnel Wireless Pro Remote Control

SLR Zoom Gorillapod

Calumet Tripod (heavy but effective)

Here is a phenomenal photographer/artist with his beautiful photo scenes.....a great many of them about LOndon, UK where he lives. Conrad is a loyal friend who always makes time to visit you. In particular I just have to say that his night shots are just pucker and they look professional which makes me deduct that he takes great care about detail and effect. He is an ex teacher and is currently about to take on Photoshop tuition as well as doing classes in some Crafts : so watch out for some knockout stuff from this talented Flickrite. You will like his London landmarks shots, which I think are among the best I've ever seen and, as I used to live there myself....they make me feel nostalgic ! Bravo Conrad, I love your stream !! Keep them coming !

Conrad, I truly believe, is very sweet, always giving out gorgeous uplifting comments to all of us, and he's very considerate to support us all. Very rare nowadays. Nice to have him as my friend. Elaine
