Perhaps I can't get a grasp on the right words just yet, but just know this: simply one of the most amazing photostreams on Flickr. Amazing. UPDATED: I'm back to append my testimonial. The reason is that hd has outdone herself by leaps and bounds, always pushing the creative envelope and using geometric power and lighting prowess to rock my world in ways I cannot express. I thought she was fantastic before... Now I'm completely speechless. WOW. I don't really get the opportunity to say "I knew someone when...." but I believe it's completely appropriate in this case. You are my idol.

hd connelly's work means, to me, a rigorous (from both a technical and intellectual point of view) and profound yet emotional/emotive journey through nature and its hidden beauty. Just take a look at her fog, or winter, or flowers' images to discover some classical themes represented in a totally new, intriguing perspective where some sort of mystery and dark nuances find their perfect collocation. These intense, unique aspects in her production just blow my mind even more since I had always considered myself a portrait person as far as photographical subject-matters are concerned; so beautiful and evocative are her images that they made me give up all of a sudden my granitic beliefs on photography! Looking at her panoramas and details, her use of color and her duotones you can clearly perceive the passion and tenderness of a great photographer and woman. Too cruel I don't know her in person!
