Charlie Troop "Condors", 2nd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment is an elite Heavy Attack Reconnaissance unit (HARS) stationed out of Ft. Campbell, KY. Strategically implementing the Army's new MUM-T doctrine, the Condors combine the aerial firepower of the AH-64E Apache Helicopter with the deep-reaching reconnaissance abilities of the RQ-7 Shadow TUAS to provide battlefield commanders with a superior advantage over enemy forces. This website documents some of their exploits as they train and deploy worldwide in support of the various operational needs of the U.S. Army and in defense of the people and interests of the United States. While the personnel and equipment of the unit shift with the constant ebb and flow of the military, the bravery and professionalism of the Condor organization stands rigid to respond to the nation's calls whenever they are needed.
