I am a fully qualified neurosurgeon in the United Kingdom. I completed training (CCT’d) in May 2024 and was inscribed on the GMC Specialist Register in Neurosurgery. Currently I am about to begin a post-CCT RCSeng Fellowship in Neuro Oncology in August 2024 for 12-months. My intention is to become a neuro oncology neurosurgeon and have expertise in degenerative spinal conditions and CSF disorders. However this might change based on experiences in my Fellowship to still include neuro oncology but other sub-specialty interests, e.g. lateral skull base and vascular. I began on Flickr in 2007 as a friend from Bart’s medical school insisted I shared my photography online. Was quite reluctant as photography for me was purely to show family the places I had travelled which they did not have the opportunities to go to during their childhoods and during adulthood. But over time I did share more photographs culminating in being a student at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art & Design in London. Sadly neurosurgical training has taken a lot from me (and though I improved my mountaineering exponentially) I could not engage in much photography unless away from work for over a week (which was not common due to being on a Band 3 Rota) and so the inquiry has kinda stopped. I do have a photography website (Google it). Will try to get back into it
