I began enjoying photography as a hobby in the mid 80's.

My first camera was a Sears KSX Super (Ricoh KR-10) and because of its K-Mount and the lenses I purchased, my subsequent camera in the late 90's was a Pentax ZX-5n. During this time I was a weekly visitor to the local FotoMat, dropping off rolls of 35mm film to be developed.

Then came the switch to digital, so I purchased a Pentax *ist DS in 2005 and a couple of new lenses, then in 2010 I added a Pentax K-7.

In 2015 I switched mfgr's and purchased a Nikon D3300, then quickly followed with a Nikon D5300 in 2016, and then came the lenses: ;)

I enjoy taking pictures outdoors, comprising of landscapes, natural history, animals, nature, macro, etc.
