I don't have or use expensive cameras, but I have learned and do know the principles of good photography, and photography in general. Therefore, I typically use my phone camera, and/or a point and shoot camera that allows me the option to apply the principles when desired.

As a Christian, I look at nature as God's Creation, and tend to derive pleasure at attempting to capture the beauty that my eyes behold in a still photo. Though a photo in itself does not capture all the smells, sounds, and full depth of the experience, it does capture a small piece and allows the mind to recall the powerful depth of the moment from my memory. Hopefully, it gives the casual viewer a glimpse as well.
