From his earliest days, Clint Milby demonstrated a passion for storytelling through visuals. After receiving a video camera for his high school graduation, Clint immediately began creating short films. Everywhere he looked, Clint saw stories to tell and characters to capture. As he moved into college at Baylor University, where he majored in Writing for Cinema, Clint created his first documentary "Village Child," which won the student competition of the ITVA Film Festival.Upon graduation, Clint moved to Los Angeles, beginning a steadily advancing career in the entertainment industry. In addition to work for industry companies, such as Live Entertainment, The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and Warner Bros, Clint also completed several screenplays including the renowned narrative "7th Angel," an account of the Waco tragedy. His next short film, "Drain U," received top honors in the Rob Zombie Horror Movie Competition. During his time in Los Angeles, Clint was drawn to the marketing field, expanding his skill sets to include social media marketing, promotional strategies and conventional marketing techniques.
In 2005, after careful consideration, Clint returned to his home state of Texas, where he currently works as Director of Marketing for the Ikan Corporation. During his tenure, Clint has overseen a massive shift to new media marketing, redefining how manufacturers present their companies and products to a new wave of filmmakers. There, he conceptualized and actively developed numerous campaigns that included print magazine ads for publications such as American Cinematograper, ICG (the magazine of the International Cinematographer's Guild) and HD Video Pro, as well as social media campaigns utilizing innovative web-marketing techniques.
Even in trying economic times, the Ikan Corporation realized its best quarterly sales ever, due in large part to Clint's overarching conceptualization and implementation of new marketing strategies. His handprint can be seen on every piece of marketing material with the Ikan name, including print, web and video. His visionary thinking, creative tactical implementation and genuine passion for spreading a revolutionary message inspire the respect and loyalty of his peers, while bringing profits and a healthy bottom line to his employer.
Whether serving in the capacity of a writer/producer on a corporate video or creating an entire marketing strategy for a new product, or line of products, Clint continues to excel to new heights and stands ready for the challenges that lay ahead.
