My name is William Jardim. I am a retired banker with a great love for all types of flying machines, sea going vessels, landscapes etc. Thus my favourites on Flickr.

The photos displayed have been shot either by myself (columbia107) or my son William John (Will-FX) who arguably may have taken the best of those posted on my Flickr page. In some cases credit is given jointly since at one time we did not segregate photos by way of photographer. We enjoy a number of common interests one of which is aviation (my son William Jnr., being the proud holder of a Masters in Aerospace Engineering, is a senior analyst with a well known company). To date, we have taken time to travel, as the crow flies, to a number of air shows held in places located between Australia and Japan in the East and the West coast of the US. Real quality time for a father!

My Flickr name and photo profile are in honour of the crew of STS 107 who tragically lost their lives as Columbia returned to earth in the winter of 2003
