Art, history, science; the possibilities are limitless. The innovation we call photography has become so common, it's taken for granted by many. When photography was young, it was little more than a curiosity but, in my opinion, it's one of the greatest strides in human history. Photography is on the short list with other amazing innovations, utilization of electricity, travel beyond our atmosphere, the internal combustion engine and more.

Photography can convey an emotion, freeze a moment of time, or allow us to understand things that were previously beyond our comprehension. To me, photography is about recording a moment or an experience. It's been a very educational hobby. Photographing wildlife and scenery is a primary focus in my work. Seeing others work that have a similar focus has taught me much about the world. I hope my work has benefited others in the same way.
