My Flickr photostream has become a journal detailing the adventure and learning process of birding for an amateur birder. I've been having loads of fun every day with my puppy, walking my region and finding a wealth of species in, for the most part, a five mile radius of my home in Arvada Colorado! In my first year of birding I found around 95 species of birds. Since I'm usually looking up, I rarely see furry critters, but every now and then I'll look down to find a muskrat, rabbit or coyote!
If you'd like to use any of my photos for a publication of any sort, keep in mind that I reserve all copyrights. And I could always use some extra funds to support my birding activities. Just use Flickr mail to contact me, or my email address posted on this profile page. Also, check out the link to my photos and other stuff on Imagekind. Thanks!
I’m a computer graphics designer with training in digital video editing. I’m a semester away from my bachelors in fine art from Metropolitan State College. I’m skilled on Mac and Windows machines. I’m skilled with the Adobe publishing software, especially Photoshop. I come from a fine art background (print-making and painting), so my work has an esthetic sensibility that catches and holds the eye. I’m confident I can say I’ve mastered the creative thought process. A primary factor in that process is the learning process, and I love learning. Nothing gets the creative juices flowing better than learning new things. My latest learning endeavor is birds.
Added 1-11-10. I've been attending Metropolitan Sate College in Denver, on and off, when I have the funds, since 1972! I have enough credits for one and a half degrees, but only enough credits focused in one area for almost one degree. Learning is entertaining for me. My early training as an artist, is in drawing, printmaking, painting, sculpture, and music. Include, astronomy, physics, psychology, sociology, literature, philosophy. A degree hasn't been as important as having fun learning about what interests me! Someday I'll have enough money to finish my degree. Till then I'll keep learning on my own! It's birds at the moment!
Now you can buy my photos thru Imagekind! Check it out! If you like an image on my photostream that is not on Imagekind, let me know.

You are The Hermit
Prudence, Caution, Deliberation.
The Hermit points to all things hidden, such as knowledge and inspiration, hidden enemies. The illumination is from within, and retirement from participation in current events.
The Hermit is a card of introspection, analysis and, well, virginity. You do not desire to socialize; the card indicates, instead, a desire for peace and solitude. You prefer to take the time to think, organize, ruminate, take stock. There may be feelings of frustration and discontent but these feelings eventually lead to enlightenment, illumination, clarity.
The Hermit represents a wise, inspirational person, friend, teacher, therapist. This a person who can shine a light on things that were previously mysterious and confusing.
