Colleen has been creating since she was fourteen years old. Constantly eyeing the world around her, she has developed a unique perspective that comes through in her photography. Though still in the midst of her education, she lets the artist within take over as often as she can. Searching for hidden beauty and the possibility of dreams in nature, she relishes adding surrealistic qualities to her work or finding them cloaked in the physical world. She desires to somehow transport one to a different timbre of reality just by looking.

Colleen is passionate about her photography foremost, but also explores poetry, music, and film. Currently studying at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, she will recieve her Bachelors Degree in Fine Art in 2012 for photography and hopes to continue crafting her art beyond the walls of a university.
