I've worked in media and communications all my life, since I started delivering papers for my family's newspaper. I started in photography at the paper and studied photojournalism in college, though I realized I was a better writer than photographer.

I'm principal of Canright Communications, a Chicago-based business-to-business marketing and technical communications firm, which I started with my wife Christina, a very fine photographer.
