We started around 1970 and now we want our collections to be collected by other collectors, so make your choice and write me about your options. We, my wife and myself ... are searching to a good destinatary ... you can start a real museum websites will be included and all is well archived. Nowadays , we started 1 Januari 2025 for 2 Sabbath years without auctions, shop etc.... 2026 and maybe 2027 too )..... We were international active in USA and Europe and last 30 years exploring digital internet-sites. We collected fand sold 50 yearss. Now all can now been admired as a VIRTUAL MUSEUM here at FLICKR. We were a Send-Ephemera-Antiquarian office, sending through our Websites , all of which are closed now, shop is closed, all auctions are stopped, no faires anymore !!!! Also stopped sending ..... since end 2024 .....I always gave my knowledge through internet ... lots of info on facebook and websites AND videos on Utube : how to make collections and study catalogues. I collected : 19th century litho printed chromo advertising trade-cards; edited with so called educational purposes, by international Companies ( chocolate and other food and industry : also smaller companies and even small shops : In all towns in Europe and North America : Cacao, chocolate , meat extract , coffee , tea , gum etc ... sets and cards, were given away , beginning from 1860's with hand press printed lithographic cards ... I collect since the 1950 : my grandfather and father started the collection. Those collections are mostly pre first war and 90% is pre 1900 : most are small cards of approximately 7 centimeters X 11 centimeters with advertising texts : on front or only on backside. Address cards, menucards from Companies, Ships, Hotels, personal , sets, series , calendars , vignettes , hotel labels , etiquettes , postcards , die cuts , art nouveau and other design through those decades. I especially liked those edited before 1900, and with the focus on 1830 to 1870 lithographic trade cards and porcelain cards. Since my retirement you could make me offers on my personal collections, You can enjoy a small part here on Flickr , we showed : over 100.000 photos from my cards, and those are only a small part of the full personal collection. My well known shop Collectomania was druring 50 years in Antwerp - Borgerhout, the shop is closed now since we moved to Deurne 2010 ... since my retirement you can reach us life only on appointment ... OR with WHATSAPP. We are nowadays organising our fotographed photos en archival maps, so they can be seen here on Flickr digitaly. And when visiting us life in Atwerp : Then you can see them in real !
