Collectivist Gallery
Drag to set position!
It’s not everyday that a movement is started, especially in art. High culture, commercial galleries, and museums have controlled the dissemination of monumental art to the masses. The Micromentalists are changing that. Good art doesn’t have to be monumental in scale to be monumental in quality. Monumental art should not demand monumental prices. Instead, working men and women should be able to afford quality art. Art pricing should be scaled to the wealth of the buyer.
The Collectivist Gallery is a perpetual online art gallery with its feet firmly planted in the budding Micromentalist movement. Established and emerging artists share virtual gallery space side by side in a gallery of perpetual and fluid existence. Art will be priced according to the wealth of the buyer. The Collectivist Gallery allows artists to take control of pricing and distribution of the art they worked to conceptualize and create. Art can finally be made affordable to working men and women.
WE are the Collectivist Gallery.
The Collectivist Gallery is fielding submissions from artists who work in any medium and with any level of notoriety. An artist who is considering submission should be aware of the Micromentalist Manifesto and should not submit work if they are not sympathetic to the tenants of the manifesto.
After reading the Micromentalist Manifesto and choosing art for submission please e-mail collectivistgallery[at]gmail.com with your contact information, an artist statement, a brief list of any place your art has been displayed, and 4 jpegs of your work. We will inform you of your acceptance Thank you for considering.

If you are interested in purchasing a work of art you will need to e-mail the artist with the name of the painting, the purchase number, and your hourly wage. The artist and the buyer will decide upon a method of payment (i.e. Paypal, money order) and shipping (i.e. UPS, pick-up).
Soon artists will have PayPal links on the MySpace page, which will help to streamline the purchase process. Until then - sorry for the delays.
