This is a shrine to my obsession: women wearing blouses with large pointed collars. Some call them long collars, dagger collars, disco collars, or even wide lapels, but whatever you call them,

the longer and pointier the better. Wide open is best, over a jacket of a contrasting color and paired with a scarf or some neck jewelry.

The 70s were a hallowed era when this look was all too briefly a part of mainstream fashion. Many of the pictures you'll find here are from that time. They also popped up as retro items in the 90s, and may be poised for a comeback thanks to Gucci? We'll see.
