As you can see I'm not a photographer, rather a creator who photographs her work. I create mixed media collage wall hangings using a variety of materials starting with paper. I'm fond of inks and chalk to give dimension followed by metal embellishments to add to the layers and I use recycled materials as much as I can. My goal is to bring the eye in with color and then explore the details. I don't necessarily always have a story behind the piece, sometimes I just want to give a wall a splash of color and interest.

My new media is textured plaster pieces, I am enjoying this new material! I use anything that strikes my fancy to imprint on the plaster. I then add color wash layers.

My work has been shown at multiple galleries including The Surrey Gallery in Delefield, WI, which was where my first commission piece was shown leading to much more exposure. Other gallery experiences include the Robert Rae Gallery in Stoughton, WI, Splurge Gift Shop in Cottage Grove, WI, and Artisons Gift Shop located in Madison, WI. I was also lucky enough to be shown at The Janesville Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville, WI where all the proceeds went back into the Garden..how wonderful is that?!!!!

Occasionally, I do indoor art shows such as the Warner Park Art and Craft Show in the Madison and will always post them as I sign up for them!

I am a member of the Madison Art Guild. We do 2 showings at the UW hospital every year. Also we have a booth at the Art Fair On The Square.

I am a member of the Beaver Dam Area Arts Association also. I am in a show April9th- may 21st 2017 at the Seippel Center for the Arts in Beaver Dam called Text, Teture and textiles.
