Around the end of 2010 I finally got around to getting myself a DSLR. In very short order I cultivated a real love for photography. I have found some challenges in mastering the technical aspects of photography, but the bigger challenge is the artistic aspect.

I enjoy shooting nature very much, but I do not want to get into any rut, so I like to be pushed into doing something new and different all the time.

I live in northern Illinois in a suburb of Chicago.
