I am am outdoor freak who loves hunting, fishing, hiking, and photography. I am very found of photographing in the eastern Alaska range between Black Rapids and Paxson. I do not like to photograph at bear viewing platforms or controlled environments. I do like to photograph wildlife that interacts with humans in urban areas. Here in Fairbanks it's common to see moose, foxes, and sometimes bears clinging on to tiny pieces of undeveloped habitat. I am a fan of bird photography and the work of Arthur Morris. My favorite photo is one I took of a family of caribou thirty years ago with a Kodak Instamatic. I crawled on my hands and knees across the tundra and got within 30ft of the herd to make the shot.
