Hello! Over the years I've been more and more interested in photography as a hobby, though I only seem to really pick it up when I'm out of state or country. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and there's so much beauty here, you think I'd want to photograph more of my local surroundings, too!

I'm using Flickr mostly to share photos from the times I've been able to travel around the world. I was using a Canon PowerShot A630 from 2007 to mid 2012, and in summer 2012 I decided to upgrade to a PowerShot SX260 HS, which I adore.

So far I've uploaded photos from Japan, Israel, and Thailand. I might decide to start uploading photos from my geekier excursions to comic/anime/sci-fi conventions someday. :) I have another trip to Japan and another to Thailand planned for the next year, but someday I'd like to see Europe and other parts of the United States.
