Born and raised on the San Francisco Penninsula, Cody Davis discovered her love of photography in the form of a hot pink Minolta point and shoot she received as a birthday present when she turned five. Since then, she has tried to find ways to look at ordinary subjects and make them extraordinary, if not at least interesting.

She is known for her bold, expressive use of colors and razor-like contrasts, as well as clean lines and sharp focus. Her primary subject matter includes documenting local events and human interest stories, portraiture, sports, and fine art imagery.

Davis is pursuing her degree in photography at City College of San Francisco, where she also volunteers with the Physical Education Department as a sports photographer. She is currently serving in the United States Army Reserve as a multimedia illustrator (25M). She lives and works in San Francisco.
