I don't expect to make a big impact on here, but put photos up that I have enjoyed taking and would like to share.

 

Early stuff was taken on a Fujica STX-1, usually with a Miranda mini-zoom type lens, and scanned in from 6x4" (occasionally 7x5") prints at 300dpi.

 

More "serious" digital photography was taken on a Nikon D50 with the standard 'kit' lens (photos from June 2006 onwards). Despite the move to a digital SLR, I'm not very good with editing software, so have done my best to take good photos in the first place, and limit any editing to traditional "darkroom" effects - ie. cropping, tweaking brightness/contrast and colour balance as necessary.

 

Recently I've also acquired a compact digital camera, in order to have something more handy and portable. This is a Samsung S760, and these photos I have edited minimally; these are after all only quick snaps. I've had some pretty impressive results with it though...
