2021. Bought a Nikon Z 50

I am especially influenced by the movies of cinematographers Laslo Kovacs, Gregg Toland, James Wong Howe, John A. Alonzo, Conrad Hall, and Dean Semler.

One of my favorite photos is "The Open Door" (1844) by William Henry Fox Talbot. It's a salt paper print: simple, primitive, and yet so striking. Henri Cartier-Bresson's black and whites retain a mystery and beauty unique even today. I've recently discovered the black and white photos of Ruth Orkin, known for "American Girl in Italy."

Her photostream shows that she is developing as a photographer, and I am sure that her work will take her into new areas and that she will find new strengths.
