In the mid 1970's I used an Olympus Pen EE followed by an Olympus Pen F. I then progressed to a Canon TX SLR in the late 70's and through the 80's and 90's. I then moved to a Sony 3.2MP point and shoot in 2002. This served me well for 8 years until it decided that it's final shutter had come down.

On 20/10/2010 I purchased a new Nikon D5000 DSLR and in December 2013 I moved up to a new Nikon D7100. I rarely venture out of Sussex much these days so that's where the majority of my photos are taken. I also now use Nikon D7200 and have lenses for pretty much every type of photography.

I mainly concentrated on transport as I've always had an interest in buses, trains and aircraft but have more recently moved into non-league football photography so my photos often appear on the clubs accounts rather than my own. Since retirement in 2018 I've also rediscovered my love for country walking so I now take a lot of photos on my walks with my lightweight Panasonic Lumix TZ-60.

I also have a channel on YouTube under the pseudonym of CNThings - www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxbulrrQVig&feature=plcp&...

The footage I shot of a glider crash at Shoreham Airshow 2010 has now had over a million hits.
