I've been taking pictures for almost 34 years and during that time I've seen the transition from film to DSLR to Mirrorless. I'm really into photo tech and have always quickly adopted new stuff. I had a D3s for 7 years and just sold it for a Fuji Xpro 2. In essence, I'm starting over by experimenting with the mirrorless APS-C format. Next up is filtering and light control in camera, not in Photoshop or Lightroom. Sure they are necessary, but I'm more interested in making pictures beautiful in camera, not with my Macbook. Most recently, I've been commissioned by a local gallery to produce Black and White pictures of the beaches near where I live. In October of 2017, over 70 pieces of my Hurricane Sandy series "91 Days, Countless Nights" will be on display for my first solo show. Details will be posted shortly.
