In July 2012, I said goodbye to a career in Investment Banking to pursue a career in Graphic Design. I joined the Foundation Diploma course in Art and Design, at LCC, University of the Arts, London in September 2012 despite having no specific art background, just a desire to learn. At LCC, under the tutelage of Ian Barraclough, I learnt vital technical competencies in industry standard software, as well as research, development, analysis and evaluation skills along with communication, presentation and time management skills. I passed the course in April 2013, achieving a Distinction.

Towards the end of the Diploma course, I applied for a place on the BA Graphic Media Design at LCC. However, a chance meeting with an MA Moving Image tutor encouraged me to apply to the MA Graphic Design course instead. I did so and started in January 2014. The year challenged my skills and redefined my practice as a design thinker. I graduated in December 2014 with a Merit.

I love problem solving and looking for ways to visually communicate an idea or concept, as well as experimenting in unconventional processes and media. Over the last two years, I have been exposed to, and have enthusiastically engaged in many cross-disciplinary processes. I really enjoy working in digital and print media, but I really get enthusiastic when I can create something physical and tactile.
