I am producing the webpages for the Friends of the Lakeshore Nature Friends (www.friendslakeshorepreserv...). Our homepage link to E-bird shows that a Cynthia Carlson is regularly posting bird observations in the Preserve, last 300 coots on the Bay. When I searched further, I found your website and now also the Flickr photos. Perhaps you are not the birder on E-bird, but I am in awe of your beautiful nature photography and the way you display it in these stunning galleries. On our Blog, I am featuring birds, plants, insects, anything natural relating to the Preserve, and I am always trying to find contributors, some of them avid amateur photographers. I would be delighted if you would be willing to share some of your photographs, which would be posted with links back to your own website or Flickr as you specify. I imagine that you also have some stories to tell about these photos, many of which must have required patient observation of the birds and waiting for the right moment. Many of the Friends members enjoy following the progression of birds on the bay in fall, with the high point being the tundra swans. It's uplifting to see photography of the cranes. Currently the sparrows and warblers during migration could be featured on the Blog. You may have other thoughts. Let me know what you think, and I look forward to hearing from you.
