At Carnegie Mellon’s School of Design, we believe design to be a humanistic discipline. Our design education focuses on learning by doing, on a balance of theory and practice, and on developing a student’s individual voice when approaching human-centered design. We offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees, as well as a minor for undergraduates and a summer program for high school students.
