Photography is my way of letting off some creative steam. I try to find the pretty side of my local neighbourhoods with my urban landscapes, although sometimes it can seem like an uphill battle with urban sprawl and grime. I use a mixture of film and digital depending on mood, and the cost of film, but sometimes it feels like I haven't really settled on any one style, or look, or even camera. I do often prefer Black and White though.

I've had an SLR since I was 18, but I've experimented with all kinds of cheap plastic lomo and point-and-shoot cameras, and some more expensive 35mm and medium format cameras since. I've also gone through periods of just using my camera-phone, but it doesn't really work for me and I don't have much to show for it from that period -- I really love the tactile and haptic nature of classic-styled technology whether it's original or reproduction.
