I'm an army wife, mom to three adorable children, quilter, and knitter. I stay at home with my little ones, and spend most of my time playing with or cleaning up after him. However, once in a while he does take a nap, and that is when I sneak away to work on some of my projects.

I am a girly girl at heart, but my likes and dislikes are expanding. I love purple {I know, not super common} and am really liking purple and aqua together these days. While I still swoon over sweet, pastel colors, I'm also tending to fall for the more saturated tones too. I'm also quite partial to pinwheels, windmills, and hexagons {really, who doesn't love hexes?}. I really like most fabric, but tend to be drawn toward designers like Sandi Henderson, Amy Butler, Bonnie & Camille, Kate Spain, Momo, Anna Maria Horner, and Heather Bailey. Gray is my favorite neutral, with bright white as a close second. I tend to stay away from dark/muddy colors in general, and have a love/hate relationship with Batiks {I want to love them, but never buy or use them}. My favorite colors are lavenders, blues, aquas, greens, pinks, and neutrals, and maybe some reds too {okay, I guess I really like reds, as I look at a lot of the stuff I've made myself...).

I also have a little Etsy shop with my mom {hence the Clover & Violet} and we design quilted bag patterns because I love bags, I can never have too many and usually when I see beautiful fabric I see it as a bag. I'm working on actually making whole quilts...
