I currently freelance as a commercial and press photographer. I'm always interested in new projects and currently available for commission. I'm enthusiastic, involved and meticulous and I have a good eye for detail. I have excellent interpersonal and communications skills as well as a 'can do’ attitude and I work hard. My rates are available on request and are very reasonable.

 

Photography

I've worked as a freelance press photographer and photojournalist covering a wide range of news stories for several newspapers and magazines, (including several front pages and covers). I've also been involved in commercial/PR photography assignments for several corporate clients ranging from multinationals to NGOs and community groups.

 

I've loved photography ever since my childhood. I've never quite lost my sense of wonder at the sheer magic of being able to freeze a moment in time.

 

Specialisms

The areas that I tend to mostly shoot are as follows, (but in no particular order):

 

Cycling & Cycle Sport;

Gymnastics - Men's & Women's;

Disability & Disabled (Paralympic) Sport;

Alternative Sub-Cultures;

Unusual and Eccentric Events;

Art, Design & Architecture;

Aviation, Military & Defence;

Charity/NGO/Voluntary Sector;

Industrial Relations & Trade Unions;

Current Affairs, Politics & Demonstrations.

 

Having said this, I'm happy to take on any photographic project - in the past I've done everything from dawn photo calls to portraiture, showcards, corporate headshots, industrial and product photography for all kinds of clients - nothing scares me. Other Information

If you want to know something, please just ask - I'm a pretty friendly person and always happy to swap tips, hints and information with other photographers - I'm not precious about knowledge. The more we share, the more we all learn from each other.
