i make my home in northeastern minnesota. i draw inspiration from the natural world, especially the freshwater sea at the door and the ever changing sky above. i'm sparked by the act of transforming one thing into another - berry to jam, string to cloth, seed to sprout, ink to image. i like eating warm bread with butter, playing scrabble and listening to the wind.
