I recently indulged in a digital camera, meaning my days of cutting off the heads of people (and getting a whole load of foreground) are hopefully behind me! I have very strange eyesight - for the purposes of taking photos, let's just limit it to I have no depth perception. I always thought I'd never be able to take good photos (both of me and by me) due to this but with my beloved digital, I can! Am just really starting though, so lots aren't quite spot on, but they're getting better.

Photos aside: I'm a postgraduate student at the University of St Andrews, studying World War 2 films (after an undergrad in Modern History and French). I come from a town called Clones in Ireland, went to school in Enniskillen in Fermanagh. I've been at St Andrews since 2000, with one year teaching in Grenoble in France. And that's about enough!
