I have more time for photography these days. I bought my first camera when I was a teenager finishing up with a Prackica Super TL. Not an expensive camera but it could do anything I asked of it. My first digital was a Nikon Coolpix 995. It was slow to start up and would'nt produce RAW images but was great for close up work. Whenever possible I carry a camera with me. I have an Epson V700 negative scanner, so I am able to delve back into my archives. I now use a Nikon D7100 with 18-140 lens. Added a 35mm prime, 55mm manual macro lens, 105mm macro lens, 11-16mm Tokina wide angle and a 70-300mm telephoto, now I'm broke. A Flickr contact has kindly given me a 180mm (nearly 300mm on my camera) f2.8 manual Nikon lens he no longer has a use for. Not easy without vibration control or fresnel screen but great for shallow depth of field.
I use Photoshop CC and make Audio Visual sequences with PTE AV Studio Pro.
I'm a member of the Kempsey Camera Club.
