My favourite subjects are animals insects and birds, but the beauty of the landscape itself can sometimes be as challenging and rewarding to capture as the creatures that live within it. So, I guess I'm a Nature Photographer rather than just a Wildlife Photographer.

My favourite subjects so far are deer and foxes. Their elegance and agility can be stunning and they challenge my stalking and tracking skills each time that I try to photograph them.

Macro photography has given me a totally different perspective and sympthy for the small animals that we humans disregard so easily. These creatures are every bit as dramatic as big game in Africa and your own garden contains so much that you never see.

I've recently moved to Northamptonshire which is giving me new challenges and new opportunities due to the diffierent nature of the countryside. I'm hoping to get more pictures of badgers this year, as well as muntjac deer, buzzards and hopefully some more of the charismatic brown hare. Roll on summer.

Good luck in all your own adventures.
