Cliff Towler. Pioneering a cutting-edge, affordable-art technique!

Artist, photographer and musician, Cliff has spent a lifetime in the world of graphic and commercial art, but he is now also enjoying the visual arts from the ‘Creative Gallery’ in the ancient Dorset Saxon town of Wareham, UK

Many successful years' trading with his brother Graham in their design and advertising business in Bournemouth, has provided the substance they needed for the artistic brothers to acquire a suitable property and carry out sympathetic renovations. Trained at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art in the early 70s, Cliff and Graham have both enjoyed fine art painting as a relaxing hobby - but now this is very much full time and for real!

Cliff particularly enjoys painting wildlife as well as Dorset and West Country landscapes. Current work features an extensive range of vividly detailed sea birds, tigers and ape studies. Cliff is also pioneering a cutting-edge technique which he calls ‘Giclée ajouté à’ which translates from the French as ‘a fine spray, added to’ This achieves high-quality, affordable fine art reproductions of his work – which also have a degree of hand painted finishing added to them, thus having the appearance of an original painting- but at a fraction of the cost!

The Creative Gallery, is open 6 days a week and displays a wonderful selection of original paintings, fine art reproductions, photographic prints, ceramics and greetings cards which are always available to buy – browsers very welcome.
