Always learning new things. I'm rediscovering my love of photography In this modern digital world. DSLR's magically capture images in rapid succession. My approach is too focus on compositions as if I were still using film. I carry a light meter (SEKONIC L-758DR) and I think in hues, textures, and value. I want to develop my story telling through the lens, and find this the most difficult part of my continuing education in light and shadow exploration. I will wait for the perfect light and not just photograph everything because its easy. I also prefer the older chips as in the Canon 5D2, 1D3, and 50D, and see no need to upgrade. I shoot RAW with good optics. When an image file is imported into the computers editing software, the camera is completely out of the work flow. Photoshop CS4 is my software of choice.
