Welcome to my Profile!

New to digital photography.. or serious photography even! Help and advice gladly welcome...

A Singaporean, married, 2 grown sons... hopefully I have more time to take photos...otherwise try to make time [read it as sneak out] in between meetings; hopefully can participate in local and overseas outings with fellow members... 8)

I prefer posting my photos straight from the camera with no or a little processing via Picasa.

A request to all who visit - please leave a comment, a suggestion or even a hello.... hear from you all... Give me tips and advice - I want to learn, at my own pace - understand my cameras and take great photos - 8)

And if you ever find my photos good enough to download for your personal pleasure, do let me know! I have found my photos in blogs and journals already! 8) But if you were using it for a book, and I find out, I shall send you the names of the charities I give to. 8)

As my personal philosophy, I want to frequently visit the streams of ALL my contacts, friends and the Groups I join - both to learn as well as to keep in touch - and to ask about you, especially when you have not been posting for a while.

And after 8 months here, I understand that some people are just collectors of contacts with no interest to make contact! Thus I ask for your understanding when I remove you from my Contact List. I hate to be just a number in your list. And if you find me not practising what I preach, do remove me as well... Thank you!

[ Note: My latest buddy icon was taken from a conservation house in Little India. The top image is that of a bat, which is my middle name - Fu or Luck or Hock ( in MinNan language). ]

A newbie photographer and a gentleman, who seems to be learning the ropes quickly, and already taking some wonderful shots! I am looking forward to seeing some more of Singapore/South-East Asia! Well done!
