Located in Germany, taking pictures since my early teen years. I started with the family owned Petri Color 35, later on I used a Voigtlander, until I owned a Nikon FE.

Since I wasn't good with paintbrush or pencil at arts in school I started to see my camera as a "portable frame", in order to catch some views and colors, seeing this process as a kind of "painting" (nowadays this expanded to structures). Of course my interests varied in a wide range, which might be evident if you take a look at my different albums.

I came to digital photography kind of late, got a big push by portable cameras (and therefore again more variations with my topics).

In contrast to my beginnings of photography, taking slides, I do much more post-processing (s.a. "painting") today.

I appreciate constructive criticism very *very* much, as I see that as a possibility to evolve. Therefore I put some pictures specifically up for discussion (as, again, *everything* is open for discussion).
