Many of the photos here are taken in central Australia, specifically within a 500 km radius of Alice Springs. It is powerful scape of extreme heat and cold. Full of low ranges covered with spinifex, rolling sand dunes, secret water-holes, salt and claypans which turn to mirrors after rain,,,,,a rare pleasure.

Also known as the dead heart, the red centre the out back, tis outback and red but far from dead. This country is home to many Mobs of Traditional custodians. I go no further before acknowleging their pre-sense of 40 000years+ of continuous culture.
