I am an adventurer, naturalist and outdoor educator from Wyoming. I like to use photography as a way to engage people in the natural world and to hopefully inspire them to slow down and look a little more. Often the most amazing things are high up in the trees or just below our knees. We simply need to slow down and look closely to see them. I attended Black Hills State University and worked as a TA and outdoor leader, which gave me lots of opportunities to document the outdoor education classes. My all time favorite subjects to photograph are my 3 dogs, Panda, Ratchet and Charlie. I take them on all kinds of adventures and they never tire of waiting for me to catch up because I've gotten distracted by something I want to capture an image of. I also work with the Wyoming Office of Outdoor Recreation on projects to expand recreational activities in and around the north eastern corner of our great state. I am self taught in my photography and with the exception of a film only class at university have no formal training.
